About the event
WACF is about the love for and promotion of good art and crafts; the enjoyment of making and teaching art and crafts and the celebration of a shared creative spirit in companionship with like-minded people.
Artists from everywhere and anywhere can apply to exhibit and sell their paintings, drawings, sculptures, photos and pottery in various venues, private studios and galleries. Also available will be various awesome workshops in art and craft activities and market stalls.
Foodies can take part with either their own stalls and workshops or attend demonstrations and workshops to learn new skills.
Our theme this year is Transform/Omskep.
The aim of art is to represent not the outward experience of things, but their inward significance.

Catch-phrases to inspire artistic work are translated, concealed, emotive, inward significance, re-discover, interpret, make visible.
On Saturday evening, 21 September, we present a Music and Dinner event with a lovely meal by the chefs from The Bistro and a performance by Christiaan Snyman, Baritone, who recently returned to SA from Germany. He will be accompanied by piano and violin and will sing light classical music.
This year we also feature four Jazz Concerts on Saturday and Sunday, presented by Wakkerstroom Music Festival.
